Shes the first to defeat her monster, followed by the knife-proficient Rian. Rian and Chise then team up when Fabio challenges them directly. Eventually the payoff will have to come, and Im confident well get one before long....

Its a nifty ability, but the grandson proves adept at protecting his granny from harm as she chants. Yuuji even gets scratched by his dagger, and he should consider himself lucky it wasnt poisoned. When Granny finishes chanting, her grandson transforms into Touji. Basically, the harder you hit him, the weaker that blow is, and vice-versa. If hes even still alive up there, he could use some backup from his underclassmen....

Aijou Rentarou has absolutely no luck in love. The problem isnt exactlyhim, but a divine snafu. The rapid-fire dialogue has a satisfying rhythm. The orange-haired Inda Karane is a lot more stanoffish. I loved that metaphor, and the visual that accompanied it. I also love how Rentarou becomes the straight man to Hakari and Karanes lively antics. Rentarou is obviously quite unaccustomed to girls fawning over him, but he certainly seems to like it!...

Loid discovers the tail instantly, but pretends not to notice. What he cant help but notice, however, is that throughout their date, Yorsimply wont sit down. She cant, because she fears her butt will hurt more than it already does. But while the poison doesnt kill her, itdoesoffer extraordinary pain relief. Finally able to sit, focus, and relax, Yor starts to enjoy herself. Loid says hed love to take her on another date soon....

Along with Elf, Dwarf, and the Lizard Priest, they have something of a found family. They return well after dark, battered, filthy, exhausted…and victorious. The kid is hardly grateful, as he just wants to get out there and slay some goblins ASAP. I imagine if he knew what befell the Priestess old party, hed have some second thoughts. With that,Eminence is Shadowssecond season heads to a new place with lots of new and familiar faces. Hes already starting to like this den of villainy. This whole scenario is like catnip to Cid. Meanwhile, Claire begins searching for him, killing ghouls as she goes. When they invade the brothel, Shadow is right on time to behead them and save Marie. But she doesnt just get saved in the immediate mortal sense....

She summons her Bankai, which has a very long name and takes the form of a colossal loom....

In other words, this second season seems poised to remain Tuesday evening comfort food for yours truly!
