Commander White orders 2B to finish the job solo and destroy Adam. Meanwhile the religious MLs get more and more fired up, while half of Adam becomes covered in tattoos. Back at the Bunker, alarms are going off all over the place. It comes as no surprise that even in when Whiteapprovessending backup to 2B, comms are jammed.

But thats when I knew this was yet another temporary victory for the Soul Reapers. Yhwach has been watching everything unfold with Uryuui by his side, but not really reacting. So yeah, the back-and-forth cat-and-mouse game continues apace. Alas, the last two episodes hes been stalled on that dark, greenish walkway....

But it does, when Sara gets a little tipsy and invites herself to Rudys room. She heads right to the bed and isnt subtle about wanting to sleep with him. He tries to manually jumpstart his little monster (his attempts are thankfully blacked out) to no avail. She even muttersawfulunder her breath as she goes. That reminded me of Asukas final words inEnd of Evangelion. Its an unmitigated disaster, especially considering how well things were going with Sara to that point....

The kotatsu is the cozy constant in an episode scattered into little vignettes. Kyouko and Izumi wake up surprised to find Kakeru there. Even so, Izumi is able to at least briefly cool her burning rage with a surprisekitankiss. It occurs to Kakeru that Kyouko doesnt mind changing or even bathing in front of him to this day. That closeness took years or familiarity to achieve with Kakeru. This comes as a surprise to Kyouko and Izumi, who know very well that Kakeru is dating Remi....
