Whatever happened to Shihos estranged friend and musical rival Kyou?
Well, she met an untimely death by accident.
This is when Hajime and Momoka encounter her and learn who has been leaving flowers at Kyous grave.

Momoka, Kyous girlfriend, tells Shiho how much Kyou loved her music.
After Kyou died, Momoka attended every show Shiho played.
It was her way of coping with Kyous death, as well as something she could share with her.

When Shiho announces shes quit her band, Momoka perhaps oversteps her bounds by begging her not to.
Shiho proposes a compromise: She wont quit music, but Momoka and Hajime will form anewband with her.
Laurelay was born that day by Kyous grave, and indeed for Kyous sake.

Three girls who loved her in different ways, uniting to make music they knew shed love to hear.
But as she tells Yori after a movie date, it still doesnt explain why she quit SSGirls.
Before a practice session, Shiho notices Himaris face light up and correctly presumes its a text from Yori.

Himari takes this opportunity to ask Shiho why she so dislikes Yori, someone shes rarely interacted with.
Shiho had actually quit a bandbeforeSSGirls, and a then-black-haired Aki invited her to join.
Alas, when Shiho encounters Aki, shes flirting with Yori.

After half a season centering on Yori and Himaris courtship, its All Shiho, All The Time.
Can she and Aki manage to make up, and even find romance where they couldnt before?
