We swap out sour cream for whipped cottage cheese in this light and airy French onion dip.
Serve with chips, fresh veggies or as a sandwich spread.
Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften, about 3 minutes.

Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed, to keep the onions from burning.
Transfer the onions to a medium bowl; let cool until closer to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
Add Worcestershire, garlic powder, vinegar, onion powder and pepper; pulse until well blended.

Add to the onions; stir until the onions are incorporated.
Serve at room temperature or refrigerate for 1 hour and serve chilled.
