He tells her how he used to hate middle school, but thats changed, thanks to her.
While clearly very happy to hear this, Yamada tells him he should be thankinghimselffirst and foremost.
He says thank you, but its more than just thanking her for helping with the books.
Its the words hes wanted to tell her all along,morethan I like you.
Those words arent necessary here, because his feelings are clear.
Then she says just joking, takes the bag back, and produces a candy for him.
Also including their first kiss couldnt hurt …just sayin!
