Its so good, I made it twice in one week.

My husband is mildly obsessed with green vegetables.

He loves his green veggies so much he chops up greens to put in his morning oatmeal.

Lemony Brussels Sprout Slaw

And its no different when it comes to special occasion meals.

), there will be a green veg or two on our holiday table.

But one of my favorite recipes to make for holiday meals is thisLemony Brussels Sprout Slaw.

I made it on a whim last Christmas.

First, you use the slicing blade to thinly slice the Brussels sprouts.

), honey, Dijon, oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

If you dont have a food processor but have a blender, you could make the dressing in that.

Or very finely chop the lemon, grate the garlic, and then whisk the dressing together.

You pour it over the Brussels sprouts and toss it all together.

Just as I expected, it was great with our otherwise-rich meal.

We devoured it all.

The salad greens looked sad, forgotten in the hectic days leading up to Christmas.

But I still had Brussels sprouts (yay for Costco-size bags of produce!).

So I made it again.

Whats great about this slaw is you could make it ahead.

I usually add a little more lemon juice, salt and olive oil before serving.

you’re able to also customize it to your liking.

Any citrus would be delicious in place of the lemon.

Switch it up with different fruits and nuts; even sunflower seeds or pepitas would rock.

Ive also sprinkled crumbled blue cheese over the top.

However you make it, just know itll be delicious.
