Heat oil in a large cast-iron or ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat.

Add water, marinara and noodles; bring to a simmer.

Cook, covered and stirring often to prevent sticking, until the noodles are tender, about 15 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan, basil and parsley.

Garnish with additional basil, if desired.
