Frankcalls them out, but Masachika keeps the fact he knows what shes actually saying to himself. The reasons for this are complex. Theres a thrill in knowing what shes saying, while also knowingshedoesnt know he knows. But its also, in part, to spare her embarrassment. This episode has a lot going for it. Both Sumipe and Masachikas seiyu Amasaki Kohei have great vocal chemistry, as do their characters. Will there be romance on the horizon?...
Hmm, this is a little more interesting. Protagonist Asamura Yuuta isnt as obnoxious as2.5sotaku Okamura, but his personality is dangerously close to wallpaper paste. If nothing else, Im intrigued enough to keep watching for now.
Amano Ririsa just as intense a Liliel otaku as he is. The difference is, she enjoyscosplayingas her Liliel, as well as other characters. And because he didnt call her weird, she wants him to take photos of her. I admire his open mind, but Okumura is both bland and off-putting. Hes a misogynist gatekeeper. This is just personal preference, but Id have preferred if Ririsa was the lead and POV character here....
They tell him everything is fine, allowing his anxious panic to subside, replaced by relief and joy. She descends into a paroxysm of grief, with Aisha and Sylphie doing what they can to comfort her. But she accepts Rudy did all he could and came up short. Learning about Roxy is another story. Norn cant accept that Rudy had it so easy while away he was able to take another woman abed....
Whatever happened to Shihos estranged friend and musical rival Kyou? Well, she met an untimely death by accident. This is when Hajime and Momoka encounter her and learn who has been leaving flowers at Kyous grave. Momoka, Kyous girlfriend, tells Shiho how much Kyou loved her music. After Kyou died, Momoka attended every show Shiho played. It was her way of coping with Kyous death, as well as something she could share with her....
This finale starts out by briefly going through the five days leading up to the nationals. They are days that are filled with more joy and fun than anxiety, dread, or fear. They also include Kumiko, Reina, Hazuki, and Sapphire posing together for the heartwarming photo above. Not about to be left out, Kanade insist on joining them too. Thats fine with Kumiko. She wants to play it with them, and with everyone....
With Momokas help, she assembles everyone for a taste-testing session thats actually meant to be a peace summit. But things immediately go downhill, as Shiho has no intention of speaking to Aki. Shihos bandmates scold her, but she decides to peace out. Thats when Hima prepares her a plate of treats, but trips on her way to her. Guilty for putting everyone on the spot, Himari volunteers for the role....
The students whine about being on cleanup duty, but he tells them its part of their training. They also lament his impending departure from the academy, as hes the best instructor theyve ever had. Komoe and the Ogres (plus a loaded Lime) entertain everyone with a modified banana dance. Its a sweet way to endTsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, whether for good or simply for now.
Taki-sensei tells her that its come to this because he believes either of them is worthy of the part. This request impresses Taki-sensei immensely, and he declares it an honor to have such an upstanding student. Even now, at the end, Kumiko insists that the best player win. Thats because she wasnt able to play with her friend. Kanade is wrong; sheisntchoosing the short stick. Shes choosing to be true to herself, to Mayu, and to the band....
Mahirus answer is that when someone does something for her, she wants to reciprocate. When her performance is over, Mahiru rushes to Kano, but the two end up on opposing escalators. Eventually they do embrace and apologize for hurting each other. Its a powerful cathartic moment that causes Kano to bawl her eyes out. Kano and Kiui end up getting their shit together and graduating after all along with Mahiru and Mei....
Why did Paul shieldhim, when he believes Norn, Aisha, Lilia and Zenith deserved it more? He does, and wakes up the next morning with a naked Roxy sleeping beside him. It gets his mind off his past life, when he neither honored nor mourned his parents. Lilia, who loved both Paul and Zenith, vows to take care of her in Pauls stead. Paul would have told him the same. She knew he had a wife back home who would have surely comforted him in his time of grief....
