Their chat is interrupted by Shinobu, who tells Koyomi that DVS has asked for him. DVS reduced state due to her 600-year-plus diet, combined with Mayois barrier, led her to land badly. It also appears that the perp in this case shifted from DVS to the girl who caused her mummification. That girl is Kiseki Sowa, the fifth basketball team member who is still at large. She buried DVS after mummifying her, and the four other girls werehervictims, with Kiseki impersonating DVS....

For much of the date, Syr dismisses her misgivings about Bell acting off and simply enjoys herself. Meanwhile Hestia Familia is tasked with holding down the fort, and Hestia is the weak link. He later finds out that Chinatsu picked up the fact that Taiki wanted to pretend they were strangers....

It would be the same if his name was Michael Bolton. She doesnt like him assuming how she feels. Ken later identifies it as aFlatwoods Monster. The only problem is, Kens human body can only hold out so long against such strain. However, the alien cheats, and proceeds to beat the crap out of Momo. She wouldnt do that, because they just went through hell together andwon. Instead, she holds the embrace, ecstatic they made it out in one piece....

Upon Returning by Death a second time, Subie finds its like riding a bike. But Emilia, who sensed something was up and followed Subie and Beako, is willing to pitch in. She doenst just want Subit to protect her; she wants to protect him too. And lest we forget, Emilia is no slouch! Summoning various weapons from ice, she goes at Sirius with everything shes got. I love the little sounds Takahashi Rie makes as she fights Sirius....

Whelp, that went down in flames fast. Episode 2 packs even more creepy spiral stuff in, but its too much too soon. Kiries classmates and teacher turning into snail-people? A pushy guy crushing on her getting hit by a car to prove his love? Two star-crossed lovers literally coiling themselves together into a cable their unapproving fathers cant hope to undo? Kiries veryhairtaking on a life of its own, growing longer and more spirally and wild?...

Shinobu asks Koyomi or a favor for when Suicide-Master revives: she wants to look tough, so she asks him to pretend hes her slave instead of vice-versa. Along that theme, Koyomi asks both Kanbaru and Oikura to be his slaves for the night, though only the former agrees, in the form of offering the use of her house. Koyomi relies once more on Meniko to decode the new sequence from the victims unlocked phone, which doesnt take her any time at all....

Its as much inspiration as infatuation. When Taiki sees shes still practicing well after school hours and normal practice, they play one-on-one together. She obliterates him, but also compliments him on his ability to move due to his own diligent practicing. He learns shes actually not going anywhere, but is staying with an acquaintance while her family moves. She tells Taiki he was the one who convinced her to stay and keep trying for the nationals....

Ayase Momo is a gyaru who just got dumped by her boyfriend for being broke and not putting out. She knew he was a douche, but he looked like her favorite actor Takakura Ken. Even in her moment of heartache, she does something selfless and kind for a stranger. Wakamiya Shion also delivers a very natural-sounding yet spirited and eclectic vocal performance. But again, because she has a kind heart, she immediately apologizes and re-engages conversation....

But theres a problem: Syrs co-worker and good friend Ryuu seems to be smitten with Bell too. Ryuu still doesnt seem happy about it, but Syr got the formal approval she needed. Bells Hestia buddies are fascinated by this turn of events, while Hestia is outraged. Nevermind that she considers Bellhers; she thought all the girls had apactwhere Bell is concerned! Bell decides to visit Syr at the tavern tomorrow for confirmation....

Its those damnspirals,you see. Shuuichis father eventually descends into madness that transcends the normal physical laws of the world. Hes the first to ever reject her, which only makes him more irresistible to her. All Kirie can do is scream, recoil in horror, and run. What is going on? Where did she go? There will probably not be any answers forthcoming; this doesnt seem like that kind of show. Its not just the visuals, but Colin Stetsons soundtrack and some marvelously gross foley....
