They tell him everything is fine, allowing his anxious panic to subside, replaced by relief and joy.
She descends into a paroxysm of grief, with Aisha and Sylphie doing what they can to comfort her.
But she accepts Rudy did all he could and came up short.

Learning about Roxy is another story.
Norn cant accept that Rudy had it so easy while away he was able to take another woman abed.
Roxy admits she feels shameless, and turns to leave.

While she admits to having been given a shock, there was nothing she found unpleasant about this situation.
Roxy loves Rudy, and Rudy loves Roxy.
Sylphie loves Rudy, and will come to love Roxy.

So too, perhaps, will Aisha and Norn.
But hes not a follower of Millis, and their own father had two wives.
Rudy, Sylphie, and Roxy will no doubt enjoy a pleasant married life together.

Lilia and Aisha will continue with house duties and taking care of Zenith.
Norn will continue her studies, and seems determined to grow strong enough to wield her fathers sword.
Most importantly, the Greyrats are now back under one roof together.
