1.Boil water and prepare an ice bath:Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
Fill a large bowl with ice water and set it near the stove.
2.Prep the corn:Shuck the corn; remove the husks and silks.

Boil the corn for 5 minutes.
4.Cool the corn:Use tongs to transfer the corn to the ice bath.
