You need a ripe avocado.
If you want tospeed up the ripening, add it to a paper bag with an apple or pear.
This mask recipe calls for 1/4 cup of ripe avocado, leaving you with plenty for future masks.
To store the leftover avocado, keep the skin on and the pit intact.
To prevent browning, cover the flesh with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge.
This will keep the avocado fresh and green for at least 2 days.
