Broil until cooked through and browned around the edges, about 6 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine honey, water, ginger and the remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbling and slightly thickened, 3 to 4 minutes.
Brush the ginger-soy mixture over the salmon pieces.

Transfer the salmon pieces to a platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives.
