A combination of ground beef and Italian turkey sausage provides tons of flavor.

Of course, you might’t forget the familiar ketchup topping.

Serve alongside a leafy salad or with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Lightly coat a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.

Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Transfer the cooled onion mixture to a large bowl.

Transfer to the prepared pan, packing the mixture tightly so no air pockets exist.

Spoon the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup over the top, spreading in an even layer.

Bake until a thermometer inserted in the thickest portion registers 165F, about 1 hour.

Increase oven temperature to broil; broil until the top is lightly browned, 6 to 8 minutes.

Place on a platter or work surface; slice into 8 portions.

Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon parsley.
