Hashimoto takes care of Yukimura while Kiyotaka tries to get Kouenji to help out.

Kiyotaka also lucks out when he alone sees a charm dropped by Asahina Nazuna.
He asks her what happened when the girls divided into groups.
This leads Yukimura to speak up as well about how he was never good at athletics.
As it happens, everyone is awake, and it becomes a bonding experience for everyone.
Kiyotaka tries to pry further, but Akane wont reveal what else might be bothering her.
Of course, Kiyotaka probably already knows.
He ends up passing the sash to Kiyotaka, while its Kouenji who runs the final leg.
In the end, no one from the boys groups gets expelled because everyone finished above the borderline.
Manabes group also outscored Nagumos, so it would seem he won, right?
Well, not quite.
Turns out Nagumos duel was only a distraction from his true goal.
One of the girls groups, led by Ikari Momoko, ended up below the borderline.
That means she is expelled, but she also gets to choose someone, and she chooses Akane.
Akane was ready to be a good soldier, but Manabe wouldnt hear of it.
