These easy buttermilk mashed potatoes are flavored with white pepper for a subtle spice and earthiness.
Serve alongside roasted turkey or chicken.
Add potatoes to the basket.

Remove the basket and drain the water.
Return the potatoes to the pot and stir over low heat until dry, about 2 minutes.
Pass the potatoes through a potato ricer into a large bowl.
(Alternatively, mash potatoes in the pot with a potato masher.)
Add buttermilk, butter, salt and pepper and stir gently to combine.
Serve immediately or cover to keep warm.
