Meaty cremini mushrooms increase their umami flavor and earthy richness as they brown in the pan.

They are perfectly paired with antioxidant-rich onions and spinach to increase the nutrition in this recipe.

Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil over high heat.

Repeat the layers once more with remaining ravioli mixture and spinach mixture.

Broil until the cheese is melted and lightly browned, 3 to 5 minutes.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Sprinkle with the remaining 18 teaspoon salt.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.

This will help eliminate sudden temperature changes that could cause the glass to crack and break.

We like using fresh spinach best, but you might use frozen.

Youll just be adding it to the warm ingredients.

If you have a nice bakery loaf, it would be excellent paired with ourEasy Garlic Butter.
