Frankcalls them out, but Masachika keeps the fact he knows what shes actually saying to himself.
The reasons for this are complex.
Theres a thrill in knowing what shes saying, while also knowingshedoesnt know he knows.

But its also, in part, to spare her embarrassment.
This episode has a lot going for it.
Both Sumipe and Masachikas seiyu Amasaki Kohei have great vocal chemistry, as do their characters.

Will there be romance on the horizon?
Sure, but its nice to see them start out on good terms.
Kudos to the pervert who animated the absoluteshitout of this sequence.

Alya refuses to forgive Masachika simply because shes no longer mad.
What happened happened, and she wasnt blameless.
She even calls out when hes putting on an act of unnecessarily florid deference.
